The tool uses practical YouTube-ready defaults, so there is very little to configure.

Which image formats are supported?

You can upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 15 MB.

Will my image be stretched?

No. Fit preserves the image proportions, while Fill crops proportionally to cover the frame.

Do I need a YouTube thumbnail too?

The cover appears inside the video. You can still choose a separate thumbnail later in YouTube Studio.
